Kasabian's Tom Meighan is the recommended that a stadium tour on the way for the rockers but a stop in his hometown Leicester’s football stadium is out of the question.

The ‘Club Foot’ singers released their fourth studio album ‘Velociraptor!’. Meighan and guitarist Serge Pizzorno thinking the band are ready for bigger things.

The pair revealed, “I can’t say anything about it, but time will tell. It would really be something if we could play Wembley Stadium, to be big enough to headline there? Magnificent. Who knows what’ll happen next year.

“When [Leicester’s] stadium was built it wasn’t designed to be sturdy enough to have rock shows there, we keep asking the council if it can be strengthened. It would be incredible to have a homecoming at City’s ground as the biggest venue in Leicester only holds 2,000 people, which is frustrating.

“It would have been brilliant to play Glastonbury but all we need is a phone call from Michael Eavis and we’ll be there for 2013. One thing I really want to do before all this ends is to headline Glastonbury as we’ve always had an incredible time playing there. Hopefully it’ll happen.”

Kasabian's new album Velociraptor! inspiration behind the title is about telling Xfm, its album the name, of course, comes from the pack-hunting dinosaurs made famous by the film Jurassic Park.

Speaking to Xfm's John Kennedy, singer Tom Meighan said: "These little prehistoric things, they were always in packs, like scavengers. It kind of feels like us, Kasabian against the rest of the world. I've always had an obsession with dinosaur names, amphibian names, you know, snake names. They sound amazing. They have these amazing Latin names."

Guitarist Serge Pizzorno continued: "They were small, but they were the only ones who could defeat the T Rex. The T Rex being the music industry! It works on both levels, too. But ultimately, it's just a beautiful word."

Tom added, "It's menacing, menacing cartoonish. It's bright and really fast."

The pair also revealed that in fact this year, the album was finished. Serge said, "It took us six months from start to finish. Now, finally it's out. We've been sitting on this for a long while cause it was finished in February, March."

The band, who release their fourth studio LP Velociraptor! United Kingdom on September 16, said that the record's title represents its sound.

Pizzorno told NME: "The album has a lot of raw, primal screaming. It has to be shouted, that word. It has to be shouted."

Musicians is also the group decided to name their new album is a Velociraptor! They feel like dinosaurs and modern popular culture has been misrepresented.

"Jurassic Park and the Hollywood myth of what dinosaurs look like - they were nothing like that," he claimed. "They were smaller and they had feathers.

"Hollywood also teaches you that things are certain and it's not like that. That comes into play with us as well - people think we're a certain type of band, but we're not."

Kasabian have recording their new album "heavy as fuck", the band have been revealed.

According to contactmusic.com, guitarist Serge Pizzorno has said: "It feels like the right time for big rock tunes. Not harking back, or rehashing anything. Modern. But big pop tunes.

"It massively changes things knowing you're going to play tunes to big crowds. When you're stood in front of 60,000 people, those are the tunes you can't wait to play.

"You might have some amazing tunes but they're at a weird tempo, and some nights you want the earth to swallow you up. But when you've got songs like [new track] 'Switchblade…' it's like, wow, any other band, anyone else in the world, has got to move out the way. It's heavy as fuck."

Their fourth record, the first of their 2004 self titled will follow, the 2006 'Empire' and 2009's 'West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum'.

This band since November of last year on the new materials to work with producer Dan The Automater.

Kasabian have revealed his concert schedule for first week on June ahead of the release of their fourth album, which is due out in October. This band has been in San Francisco with Dean Automator working on new material, that the last album ‘West Ryder Lunatic Pauper Asylum’ products.

Speaking to Q, guitarist Serge Pizzorno said: “Listening to the [new] songs makes you feel great. Get your fucking jacket on, whack your fucking shoes on. It makes you believe things are going to happen”.

Kasabian have promised to his fans that they preparing their forth album "epic".

The record is set to be released in October and is rumoured to have been produced by Dan The Automator, who worked with Kasabian on West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum.

However the band’s record label has remained tight-lipped. A representative of Sony/BMG said: “It's nearly finished. They're mixing it. I can't tell you who's producing it – it's secret – and I can't even give you a clue about what it sounds like because we haven't heard it."

Describing the album in a recent interview Songwriter Serge Pizzorno said: “It's epic. It's big songs that make you feel like anything's possible. It's a really positive record. I suppose it's a combination of all three records but we've just taken it a bit further.

"I'm really excited about it, because after the last record, people really liked it and wanted to know what was next, and I'm happy to say that it's got better. I'm excited about playing it live – there are tunes on there that are going to take people to a new place."

He also commented on his creative process: "I see myself as a sort of vessel, I don't even think the songs have anything to do with me," he said.

"I don't really know how or why it works, but every now and again something happens and I just seem to be able to write a song. You can explain what you like about music and why you got into it but it's hard to say how you do it yourself."

Lisa Hilton gave beauty expert advice to Kasabian Serge and advised him to massage his scalp every day and visit an upmarket salon to treat his tresses.

She says, "He could have gone bald if he'd carried on the way he was. That's why he was wearing hats all the time. He wasn't cutting off his straggly ends or getting enough blood circulation. So I did a proper cut and made him massage his scalp daily.

"He inspired me to set up the +Rehab London range because men don't look after themselves enough."

Tom Meighan revealed to a source that he band will roadtest new material on an 'intimate' spring UK tour.

The chart-topping star consent to back Leicester organisation Support Our Forces after elevating to raise more than £500 for the group at a sponsored head shave night.

Staff at Oxfam, in Market Street, Leicester, were star-struck when Kasabian singer Tom Meighan strolled into their shop carrying bags of his unwanted clothes.

Many of the items had been worn during gigs and festivals – although staff at the shop assured customers they had been washed.

All of the donated clothes have been tagged to show its origin.

Kasabian has previously turned down a role as a count in the Sofia Coppola directed 'Marie Antoinette' because of his commitments to the group - will one day amaze everyone with his on-screen prowess, claims his bandmate Serge Pizzorno. The group's guitarist, Serge Pizzorno, reckons Tom will one day surprise everyone with his acting ability, though to date he has only been offered one film role, which he had to turn down to concentrate on the group.

In 'Marie Antoinette' of Tom's proposed role, Serge said: "It is quite true, they wanted him to the play role. It was pretty mental. I think we'll definitely look Tom in something one day.

"He's the sort of person who'll win an Oscar one day and you'll be like, 'What?' He's great at that stuff."

Tom have put to his film career off for a time yet, however, as he currently said that he thinks Kasabian are about hip hop and will be around for some time to come. He said: "The best thing about our band and we get to make a fourth album, and I think the fourth album will be our hit, and I think we'll be around for another ten or fifteen, years, we'll be around for a while."

A new footie deal KASABIAN have landed which will make them Britain's biggest musical export.
In the world it will soon be impossible to avoid them anywhere after Barclays Premier League paid a fortune to use their massive track Fire in the title sequences whenever matches are shown abroad.
Next three years broadcasters in around 200 countries will legally have to use the song when they show live games.

The Leicester lads are now the first port of call when it comes to football and music.
Singer TOM MEIGHAN launched Umbro's England World Cup kit in Paris before the tournament. And their music is always used on TV, especially Match Of The Day and Sky Sports.
Paul Molnar from the Premier League said: "If we had just wanted a track, there are thousands of those that they could have used.

Signed up to Kasabian star Chris Edwards has to take part in a gruelling charity bicycle ride to raise money for children with cancer.

The bass player and his brother, Jay, will cycle nearly 900 miles from the southern tip of Cornwall known as Land's End to the northern village of John O' Groats in Scotland.
On 4 September the group will set off and spend 14 days on the road before reaching their destination.
They hope to raise £5,000 for the Teenage Cancer Trust, according to The Sun.

Kasabian are set for the royal treatment Andres Iniesta plans to give the rockers a night to remember as thanks for helping Spain win the World Cup. Spaniards were celebrating on Sunday after their national team defeated the Netherlands 1-0 in the tournament and now 26 year old ace Iniesta wants to pay due credit to Kasabian, whose music helped the players get "pumped" before every match.
Iniesta tells The Sun, "I am thanking everybody who helped us win the World Cup. Kasabian were a big inspiration in the dressing room. Their Club Foot has been our choice of song before we run out for about a year now. I want to say a big thank you to them, I want to offer them something.
"I want to invite them as my guests to come and watch the world's greatest football match between Barcelona and Real Madrid at the Camp Nou.
"I will even sort it for them to come and have a kickaround on the pitch the day before.
"We can go out and have a mad night in Barcelona and celebrate the World Cup win properly. They haven't got to worry about hotels, I am in the mood for sharing.

Kasabian's songwriter and guitarist Serge Pizzorno is attempting to educate music fans about the "rock'n'roll" way.

The Kasabian guitarist admits he is concerned that the younger generation are growing up without the knowledge of rebellious and creative artists and authors such as writer Ernest Hemingway, poet Charles Bukowski and abstract painter Pablo Picasso.He told Q magazine: "Kids don't know about the rock'n'roll way anymore. I don't mean just the music but Hemingway, Bukowski, Picasso…people who saw the world differently.”Serge admits he is inspired by creative people who are able to live a “wild life” but also acknowledges he needs to work hard to be successful.He added: "Bukowski, Keith Richards, Hemingway…those are artists that I respect. Those are the people you have to live up to if you can. They embraced a wild life so that they could experience something particular. I am fascinated by that and I always will be. But I've got quite a strong work ethic as well. You can't miss a show. You can't record a lot of s**t music and it down to 'being an artist and living the life.' Serge's girlfriend is due to give birth in September. At the time of the announcement, he was thrilled with the news, because he was turning 30, and "wanted kids to focus on, too."
Tom appears to want a baby for the same reasons, saying: "A baby would be a good focus for me, too. I'll have to ask the missus, but yeah. A baby would be mega."

Kasabian leicester rockers scooped song of the year with "Fire" at the Mojo music awards on Thursday on a night when the influence of 1980s pop was an overriding theme.
London's Florence and the Machine came away empty handed, however, despite leading the nominations with four. The awards, arranged by Mojo magazine and partly decided by readers voting online, are officially called the Mojo Honours List.
In the contemporary categories, Richard Hawley picked up the best album prize for "Truelove's Gutter," The Low Anthem were voted breakthrough act of the year and Texan band Midlake won best live act.
Psychedelic experimentalists Amorphous Androgynous scooped the best compilation with "A Monstrous Psychedelic Bubble Exploding In Your Mind Volume 2 - Pagan Love Vibrations Compiled And Mixed By The Amorphous Androgynous."
In the non-contemporary categories, The Stone Roses' eponymous 1989 record was named classic album, while 1980s Liverpool act The Teardrop Explodes received the Mojo Inspiration award. Marc Almond, best known for his work with Soft Cell in the 1980s, won the Mojo Hero award.
"The 1980s are almost the new 1960s," said Phil Alexander, Mojo magazine's editor-in-chief. "You can hear the influence of that decade everywhere."

Muse and Kasabian win top NME Awards

Paul Weller was saluted by the rock community when he was bestowed with the Godlike Genius title at the ceremony.
But Oasis, who were up for three main awards, were snubbed by the magazine's readers after their split last year.
They lost out to old rivals Blur in the best live event category, while Arctic Monkeys were named best live band.
NME editor Krissi Murison said 3.6 million votes had been cast to determine this year's winners.
Muse beat Oasis, Arctic Monkeys, Biffy Clyro and Kasabian to the best band trophy, and singer Matt Bellamy said the win was "a great surprise".
"I didn't expect to win that one at all," he said. "It's very humbling to win that." The band also won best website.

Oasis were also up for best video, but that went to Biffy Clyro for The Captain.

The nominees for this year's NME awards have been announced, giving Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian and, er, generally boys with guitars lots of reasons to be chuffed. The shortlist's other leading acts include Muse, Oasis, Biffy Clyro, and Florence and the Machine.

Arctic Monkeys and Kasabian each received six nominations, including best British band, best album, best live band and best video. Muse trail with four nominations. Oasis, who won the prize for best British band last year – and then promptly broke up – are again nominated.

"The NME awards is the one ceremony where you see the bands who have really meant something and made a difference get justly rewarded," editor Krissi Murison told BBC 6 Music. By happy coincidence, most of the acts that "really meant something" seem to involve guitars. By our clumsy estimate, 21 of the 29 nominees are guitar-based bands. Led by male singers.
At last year's awards, only two winners, MGMT and Dizzee Rascal, were not merely lads with guitars (MGMT, after all, are lads with guitars AND lots of keyboards). Even the winners for worst band and worst album – the Jonas Brothers – have Stratocasters. But lads playing indie rock are what NME readers love best.

"The great thing is," Murison said, "there's no predicting which way the fans will vote!" We just wouldn't put any money on La Roux.

The Shockwaves NME awards take place on 24 February at the O2 Academy in Brixton.

Serge Pizzorno is so passionate about his music it's hard not to warm to him, and when he says he loves Newcastle, I believe him."It sounds actually corny like I say it about everywhere we go, but when you drive into Newcastle there is something phenomenal about it - the bridges - I just actually buzz off it."We played here a few months ago and it was definitely the loudest crowd we have ever had, if we had a decibel reading it would have been off the scale."Following on from their current stint supporting Oasis on their massive stadium tour, Kasabian are calling in at Newcastle's Metro Radio Arena tonight (Tuesday)."Doing the stadium tour was fantastic - we're sad that Oasis have split up, but it'll be amazing to see what they both do now, as they're geniuses."So are the rumours that Noel Gallagher is joining the band true?"It would be a great laugh, it would be amazing - but no, I don't think it's going to happen."But it seems these indie rockers don't need the help (or hinderance?) of the Oasis boys, as they scooped the Q award for best album for West Pauper Lunatic Asylum last week."It was great to win, because you never make an album to win an award so it's great, as well I think the best album award is the best one to win, as it means the most."The bizarre name for the album comes from a real asylum that existed in the 18th century. Kasabian TOP Brit band have spoken exclusively to the News of the World about their love of Leicester City, football and touring with Oasis.
Tom Meighan and Chris Edwards took time out ahead of their upcoming tour to discuss a number of topics including how football has influenced their music and the joys of following Leicester in The Championship.
They would love to play a gig at The Walkers Stadium and answer the burning question would they rather be a rock star or a Premier League footballer?
"The real glory and the real football," is at Championship level, according to Tom, even though he is delighted with the news of the possible signing of Edgar Davids and feels the Foxes are well capable of getting promotion.
The boys also discuss their feelings for other sports and the prowess of the band members at football.

Won a Q Awards to Kasabian, U2 and Lily Allen

U2, Kasabian, Lily Allen and Lady GaGa, the results of the QAwards have been released and they have all lifted gongs.
The Best Track award Lily Allen won for her song The Fear, while U2’s album The Unforgettable Fire took the Classic Album prize.
Lady GaGa won a gong for Best Video, for her song Just Dance, while R&B star The Breakthrough Artist of 2009 Mr Hudson was named.
Kasabian were another band to be victorious, lifting the Best Album accolade for their West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum track.
Edwyn Collins, Marianne Faithfull and The Specials were others to be recognised at this year’s Q Awards, which took place today, October 26, in London.

"West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum"with the quirky title, fans and critics alike have been trying to figure out what British rock band Kasabian's latest album is actually about. But frontman Tom Meighan says the title has no relation to anything, other than "it's the words that I actually like.""I like the idea of madness, and music kind of entwines. If you call an album that, it pretty much gives you the freedom to go wherever you want. That's what I was interested in," he said in an e-mail interview."West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum," the band's third album, topped the U.K. charts this June. Meighan says guitarist Sergio Pizzorno was inspired to make the album after watching a TV show about a mental asylum."One night, Serge watched a program on a mental asylum on TV, and he had this thing to make an album that's really out there and the journey. It's the kind of thing, (where) each song's different and has a change characteristic and that's how it happened," he said.With dark, electronica songs "Underdog," "Vlad the Impaler" and "Fire," the album is nothing like the rock music their fans are used to.Critics gave mixed reviews, but Kasabian is not affected by them."It's an album with 12 really good songs on it, that's all to me what it is. It just throws it into another world and it's completely different to the first two records, which is what we're about," Meighan said. Kasabian was formed in Leicester in 1999, with Meighan on vocals, Pizzorno on guitar and Chris Edwards on bass. Drummer Ian Matthews joined in 2004. Kasabian, who won the Best Live Act award at the 2007 NME Awards, impressed Korean fans when they performed at the Pentaport Rock Festival in 2007.Meighan says it was also an "amazing" experience for the band to perform here. "The energy there was, you know, monstrous," he added.Although there's no word on a Kasabian concert in Seoul anytime soon, Meighan said fans can always expect their shows to be magical. Kasabian's Tom Meighan has said he is not fussed about breaking America because he can't be bothered to tour there.
Tom told #5 magazine: "I'm not a**ed about it mate, the record (West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum) went to No 98 on the Billboard which is s**t, sold about 10,000.
"To break America you have to tour the motherf****r, and that takes a lot of time, it's massive..."
Tom added: "No one butthe breaking America Coldplay and U2. It might happen, but we're certainly not going to different what we do. We're so dangerous for them, and we're not going to become non confrontational."
The Shoot The Runner rocker also said Kasabian couldn't fill the void left by Oasis' split as the two bands are too change.
He said: "Well everyone keeps tipping us to fill the void, but you can't fill that void. Oasis are a big, anthemic sing along band, while we're more of a dance along band, we're completely different. If you're gonna call them The Beatles, then we're the Stones, you know what I mean?"

It’s now a particular cause for Gallagher who is also lending his support to the new film The Vanishing of the Bees, set for release in the UK next week.
The Brit rocker even teamed up with a man wearing a giant bee outfit to promote the film this week.
Said Gallagher: “I like honey. If it weren’t for honey, I’d have a rough voice.”
If you weren’t aware, the bees are responsible for pollinating around 1/3 of the UK’s food; a further drop in the bee population could be bad news for the country’s agriculture industry. The cause remains unclear for the falling honeybee numbers, but scientists are focusing on increased use of pesticides and climate change as possible factors.

Bands celebrate 250th anniversary of Irish beer in Dublin.

Kasabian, Estelle, Tom Jones and Dizzee Rascal played a show in Guinness' Dublin brewery this evening (September 24).The acts came together at the St James's Gate Brewery for the main Arthur's Day show, part of a series of shows being held across the Irish capital to mark 250 years of the stout. With the drinks flowing, creating the preverbial 'piss up in a brewery', the bands performed on a makeshift stage in Hop Store 12 at the west Dublin complex, marking the 250th anniversary of Arthur Guinness signing a 9,000 year lease on the site.Jones opened the event after a toast to the Guinness founder at precisely 17:59 (reflecting the year the brewery opened), followed by Estelle, who had the crowd jumping around to the likes of 'American Boy'. Arctic Monkeys lead Q award lists, Oasis also star

LONDON (Reuters Life!) Sheffield band the Arctic Monkeys lead this year's Q Awards with four nominations, while Oasis, who currently announced their split, are up for two prizes.
Among other artists with multiple nominations for the music publication's annual awards were U2, Florence & The Machine, The Prodigy, Kasabian and Dizzee Rascal. The prizes are handed out on October 26.
Arctic Monkeys, who have just released their third album, appear on the shortlist for best track ("Crying Lightning"), best live act, best album ("Humbug") and best act in the world.
Manchester's Oasis have been nominated for best live act and best act in the world, despite songwriter and guitarist Noel Gallagher announcing last month that he had quit the band due to a bust up with his brother and frontman Liam.
"The nominations are compiled from votes cast in their thousands by Q's readers, listeners, viewers and online users, so they reflect the choice of the nation's music fans," said Q Magazine editor-in-chief Paul Rees.

Calif. AG to rejection of medical claims

LOS ANGELES — California Attorney General Jerry Brown is looking into claims that the state's top health insurers reject about 20 percent of medical claims.
In a statement, Brown says substitute in his office are launching an independent research because a high denial rate advises the system itself is nonadaptive.
AG spokesman Scott Gerber says the research comes on the heels of a Los Angeles Times report that the state's largest health insurers reject up to 39.6 percent of claims.
California Association of Health Plans spokeswoman Nicole Kasabian Evans told the Times that health plans stay by contracts and there are logical reasons to deny claims.

“So did you miss us at the V Festival?” Tom Meighan asked the sold out Civic, prompting the city’s longest composite ‘Yesss’ since Wolves won promotion.
And for anyone who suffered Oasis’ grudging and soulless set at Weston Park, this was the perfect antidote.
From the minute Meighan blustered on stage newly trimmed and looking like a slicked up Russell Crowe he grouped any doubts that a current swine flu scare had dimmed his innate likeability and raucous stage presence. “Yes, I’m alive,” he beamed.
Epic opener Underdog set the standard and, having acquired the ‘difficult third album’ syndrome with ease, Kasabian were able to cherry pick a catalogue now incomparable by any band since The Stone Roses.

Cue big stomping anthems, almost all of which turned into sing along, clap along fan fests with the whole venue joining in, except the security staff, who bottled their big moment, to pantomime boos from everyone else.
The set was faultless, with ‘Where did all the love go’ and ‘Fire’ raising the bar ever higher. Time, unhappily , flew past. So much so that when Club Foot kicked in, it still felt like the center order.
In fact it was the set closer, giving way to a storming repeat of Stuntman, followed by a reprise of their Glastonbury showpiece as Candi Staton’s ‘You got the love’ bled seamlessly into a memorably rousing LSF.
As the band left a sea of smiling faces in their wake, Meighan shouted above the cheers: “We need you to make us the most important band in Britain.”

Short listed for the prestigious Mercury Prize after their third album, "West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum," recently greatest he charts, the psychedelic rockers flatly reject comparisons to another, globally conquering all mail Bitish band that also has its fair share of awards: Oasis.
"People say we're going to be the new Oasis but we're not," Kasabian vocalist Tom Meighan told Reuters during a recent trip to Tokyo.
"There is no new Oasis. We can't be Oasis because they've done it. Oasis were giants in the '90s. It's nice when people say it, but they're kind of missing the point."
Kasabian approvaled Oasis in a series of stadium shows in Britain over the summer before flying to Japan to acomplish at the summer Sonic music festival, but Meighan said this was for the band's own good.
"We played in front of almost a million people in three weeks," said the 28 year old "The record was just out, so it's the best promotion you can get. You do it, don't you?"
Meighan accepted kasabian used to be "terrors" on tour and trouble has sought them out in unusual ways: guitarist Sergio Pizzorno found a live World War Two shell in his garden.
But now Meighan believes the band has grown up, with the critically acclaimed "West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum" marking a proveing point for the musicians who hail from Leicester, England.

Kasabian have been given the all clear by doctors after bridal members fell ill during their tour and it was feared they had swine flu.
Frontman Tom Meighan was taken to hospital in Sydney, Australia, earlier this week, according to The Sun.
The band members were showing symptoms similar to swine flu but their spokeswoman confirmed that they did not in argument have the bug.

in the Tokyo have a 30 british companies this week on a government sponsored mission to break into the huge, but notoriously tough, Japanese music market. Executives from small Freedom UK labels are thinking to build on the success of major British acts to carve out a niche in Japan, after the US the world second biggest music market.

The consumer mission, arranged by UK Trade & Investment (UKTI), the government body, and trade group the BPI, comes at an uncertain time for the British record industry

In the first six months of this year UK music sales shrank by 7.3% from a year earlier, according to the BPI. CD album sales were down 13% from the same time last year, although a boom in digital downloads softened the blow.

The US market while British artists have increased there share over the past four year, they have struggled to gain a foothold in Japan.

Homegrown Japanese artists account for 80% of sales, but even in the country's international music market, UK artists account for only 25% well behind US artists

"Well, we've got a tour in November, an arena tour in November and we're going around the world 15 times before then and then maybe, hopefully try and get to Saturn at some point because we've not played there yet," lead guitarist Sergio Pizzorno joked.

Tom Meighan hailed the band's Camden Roundhouse gig last night (July 22) as "f***ing emotional" and "amazing".The band were playing the show to an audience filled with competition winners, as part of the iTunes Live festival.Frontman Meighan was visibly awed to see so many of the audience singing along to newer tracks 'Where Did All The Love Go?' and 'Take Aim', clapping them along and showing his appreciation by saying "You're in fine voice Roundhouse!" after the former.Kasabian played a raft of tracks from third album 'West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum', which was nominated for the Barclaycard Mercury Prize earlier this week (July 21), and although they didn't mention that specifically, the band we're in celebratory mood throughout the gig.

The band were joined by a trumpet player for several songs, including fan favourite 'The Doberman', which saw Meighan jokingly square up to the musician at the end of the track, standing directly opposite him with his arms crossed to show his appreciation.

Kasabian devoted show to fan took life in car accident

Kasabian rewarded their compliments to one of their lover who died in a car accident at the weekend by dedicating the song to her.

Jennifer John from London was driving a car to the band's Eden Project gig in Cornwall on Saturday the 4th of July when the misfortune occurred. Her passenger remains in intensive care.

The group said that they were overwhelmed by the news of John's death, and devoted last night's (July 7) show at the Cambridge Corn Exchange to her.

Frontman Tom Meighan wrote on Kasabian.co.uk that "Jennifer was always at our gigs. She'll be particularly fail to spot by me, the group and many others."

According to The Sun, John was caught up in a collide on the M5 while en route to the show.

An alternative rock band from Leicester, England is a Kasabian. The band contains Tom Meighan (vocals), Sergio Pizzorno (guitar, synths, vocals), Christopher Edwards (bass), Ian Matthews (drums) and touring guitarist Jason Mehler. The group has been evaluated with the likes of Primal Scream, with their similar electronica-indie rock fusion and Oasis, with whom they share their confidence, vision, swagger and rough vocal style.

It has been wonderd that the name “Kasabian” is taken from the getaway driver (named Linda Kasabian) for the Tate murders devoted by the Manson Family.

The band created in 1999 in Leicester, England. Their first album was simply “Kasabian”, and in 2004 inward lacklustre reviews. However, tracks such as Cutt Off and L.S.F (Lost Souls Forever) reached the UK Top 10, and with 2 more Top 20 hits and the album peaking at #4 in the UK Album Chart, they defied the detractord.

The second album, “Empire”, was launched on the 28th of August 2006. The first single from the album, also titled “Empire”, was widely looked upon as a musical success, with its change of beat important of “Take Me Out”, and its catchy chorus. This was then followed by the launch of the single “Shoot The Runner” and most just, “Me Plus One”.

The newest album, “West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum”, was launched on the 5th of June 2009. The hit single off the album “Fire” was one of the Top 5 singles in the UK charts at the time, reaching #3 in the Official UK Singles Chart.
