Market Street

Staff at Oxfam, in Market Street, Leicester, were star-struck when Kasabian singer Tom Meighan strolled into their shop carrying bags of his unwanted clothes.

Many of the items had been worn during gigs and festivals – although staff at the shop assured customers they had been washed.

"The items have had a lot of interest."

All of the donated clothes have been tagged to show its origin.

"I know he's really rich and it probably doesn't make any difference to him.
