Kasabian frontman Tom Meighan has become an ambassador for a soldiers' charity.
The chart-topping star consent to back Leicester organisation Support Our Forces after elevating to raise more than £500 for the group at a sponsored head shave night.
At the Dog and Gun pub in Lutterworth the star after signing autographs and posing for pictures with fans got stuck into shaving the head of local and ex-soldier Jim Wilkinson.
I've known Tom for a while and saw him at the football one day and asked him if he wanted to do the head shave.
"It was a fantastic night and to have Tom there was brilliant – he's a legend.
"He's agreed to be an ambassador for the charity, which is great. To have him involved is brilliant.
"All the Army lads love Kasabian and he said he'd do what he can to support us."
